- Presenatation - Mike Dooley, Southern Regional Sales Manager for FlexHead Industries.
FlexHead has flexible sprinkler connections for three markets: Commercial; Duct; and Clean Rooms.
FlexHead products are UL listed and FM approved and meet NFPA 13 guidelines. FlexHead is chemically
compatible with Noveon/Blazemaster CPVC and is listed for use with wet, dry, pre-action and deluge systems.
Mr. Dooley's presentation will address the benefits of the FlexHead flexible fire sprinkler connections, the
testing and approvals of FlexHead products, seismic testing and seismic benefits of flexible connections and
the types of flexible connections available. Also to be discussed will be some of the Las Vegas installations
of the FlexHead product including the City Center project, Veer Tower, Pelli Tower, and the Wynn Encore project.
Mr. Dooley will also be addressing some of the specific installation issues that have been raised regarding flexible
sprinkler connections.
Networking will begin at 11:45 AM with a lunch buffet service starting at 12:00 PM. Following a few
announcements, the presentation will begin at approximately 12:30 PM. The meeting cost is $20 for Chapter
members that RSVP. The meeting cost for non-members and members that do not RSVP is $25.
